Lekale Group was honoured to partner with the Black Lawyers Association (BLA) Gauteng as a sponsor of their Women’s Day High Tea, held on Saturday, 8 August 2026 at The Capital Hotel, Sandton.
Themed “Support Excellence. Empower Women in Law,” the event brought together a distinguished gathering of legal and academic leaders in celebration of Women’s Month. Guests were addressed by keynote speaker Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi, Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, alongside guest speakers Professor Puleng Lenka Bula (Vice-Chancellor and Principal, UNISA) and Professor Zozo Nene (Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, Head of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Unit, Steve Biko Academic Hospital). The panel of powerful women also included Acting Deputy Judge President ADJP Modiba, Mam Bridgette Mabandla, Mam Ramagaga, Adv Moroka SC, Mam Hlaleleni Kathleen Dlephu and Charlene Louw, CEO of the Law Society.
As part of its commitment to supporting platforms that champion transformation and leadership in the legal profession, Lekale Group contributed a curated wine gift to the occasion — a small gesture in support of a meaningful cause: investing in the advancement of women in law.
